Secluded in the quiet neighborhood of Sea Pines,
we're in the heart of Duck. situated between the
Atlantic and Currituck Sound, our bed & breakfast is
also just a short walk from Duck's shops and
restaurants.
The Great Room ... for Donna's and Nancy's legendary hospitality, for conversations about trips to the Outer Banks, the horses of Corolla, fishing in the nearby Gulf Stream, and the fish that got away, and for savoring ginger snaps and lemonade during afternoon tea time!

The Tower for a great view ... is one of the wonderful ways Advice 5 cents is in a category by itself, unlike any hotel or motel ... like being invited to a friend's beach house.

Settle in the Ship's Tower for a game of Scrabble or to simply enjoy the view. You may want to plan an adventure -- there's a lot to see and do on the Outer Banks! (Click here for www.outerbanks.org) For starters, Duck's quaint little village, easily enjoyed by foot, boasts unique shopping, art galleries, and outstanding restaurants. Why not plan a stay to coincide with an event taking place in Duck's Town Park? (Click here for Town of Duck Calendar) Venture out in a sea kayak wandering through marshes or set sail on the Currituck Sound. (Click here for www.norbanks.com)The northern beaches are also home to the Currituck Beach Lighthouse atop of which offers a breathtaking view of both the Atlantic Ocean and the Currituck Sound. Or take to the sky hang gliding at Jockey's Ridge, the east coast's tallest sand dune. A day trip gets you to Cape Hatteras and over to Ocracoke Island via ferry. And just across the inlet in Manteo is The Lost Colony, the perfect place for a summer evening of outdoor theatre.

Or, if simple relaxing on the beach is one of your favorite retreats then you will have found a place to call home.
